What is the nutritional label?
The basic nutrition labeling items of Taiwanese packaged foods should include 8 essential items such as calories, protein, fat, saturated fat (acid), trans fat (acid), carbohydrates, sugar, sodium, etc.
According to the new nutrition labeling standard for packaged foods published by the Food and Drug Administration in 2015
There are two types of qualified nutrition label formats.
- “per serving” and “per 100 g/mL” (as shown in Format 1)
- “Per serving” and “% Daily Reference Value” (as shown in Format 2)

This version is labeled “per serving” and “per 100 g/mL” and is suitable for comparing the nutrition labels of two different products.
