In hospitals, pharmacists’ work is nothing more than dispensing, issuing medications, and reviewing orders, but dispensing is still the bulk of the work. The more clinical side of the job is like checking rooms, reviewing medications, and providing physician recommendations (of course, this is a job that only comes with being a clinical pharmacist). With the development of technology, the future application of AI is unlimited and will definitely impact the pharmaceutical industry.

Nowadays, larger medical centers are moving into automated dispensing equipment, and even thanks to the development of big data, drug reviews can be programmed to ask computers to do the initial screening. The workload of pharmacists has been reduced, but the demand for jobs has also been reduced. As pharmacists, how do you stand out in this highly competitive generation? How do you stay competitive and not get left behind?
The way out for pharmacists
After starting to look for employment opportunities, I found that hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, community pharmacies, and even further study abroad are all options for pharmacists. I encourage everyone not to limit their own development, and not to limit their own vision. I have many pharmacist friends around me who are proficient in electronics, economics, and even art, and they hope to combine their expertise with the pharmaceutical industry. I really feel that my friends around me are the best “slashers”!
